Michael (aka Mike, manager of the group), grew up in Lake Como, the west side of Fort Worth, Texas. He is passionate about singing and performing. Michael (aka Mike, manager of the group), grew up in Lake Como, the west side of Fort Worth, Texas. He is passionate about singing and performing. As a product of a singing family, his Mom, Dad, and maternal grandparents all sang in Zion Baptist Church Choirs. During his high school days, his chorus teacher was the renowned Jewel Faye Kelly. She had a huge influence developing his ear for harmony. He was also inspired by a variety of artists including all the Motown groups, such as The Temptations as well as The Beatles. All of which inspired him to think about starting a group. So, when he was a sophomore, he and four friends started a group named "The Barrons". Over the years, the group's name changed to "The Creators", then to "The Legendary Creators". The older groups were comprised of several members that included Marvin Rhodes, Fred Valentine, Greg Morris, Edward C. Graves, Booker T. Brooks and Leslie Wayne Alaman.
Mike sings 1st tenor, 2nd tenor, baritone, and bass. Although he considers himself a background singer, he sings lead on several of the songs. He is also one of the choreographers of the group.
Mike is blessed to be married to his wife, Gail, for over 50 years. He is the proud father of Guy & Monte. Also grandfather to Chasmin and Miles. Mike is a big “homer”, when it comes to sports, being a fan of the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks.
Kermit, Michael’s younger brother, also grew up in Lake Como where he sang in church and at school. He is co-manager of the group. He joined "The Creators" shortly after graduating from high school. During the early 70's, they sang at the most popular night clubs in Ft. Worth, Dallas, and Waco, Texas. They also performed at NCO clubs on
Kermit, Michael’s younger brother, also grew up in Lake Como where he sang in church and at school. He is co-manager of the group. He joined "The Creators" shortly after graduating from high school. During the early 70's, they sang at the most popular night clubs in Ft. Worth, Dallas, and Waco, Texas. They also performed at NCO clubs on several Air Force Bases in Texas and at various college functions. He sings 1st and 2nd tenor, baritone, and has a mean falsetto. He is also one of the choreographers of the group. Kermit attended East Texas State University majoring in Art and was a charter member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc’s chapter on that campus. He sings in his church choir and continues to enjoy singing with the group. He enjoys watching sports and is an avid Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks fan. He also loves working on home projects, computers, electronics, and enjoys riding his Harley.
He is the proud father of two sons, DeShawn and Andrew and PawPaw to four grandsons, Kalin, Kameron, Kingston and Karter.
Howard grew up on the southside of Fort Worth where he attended I.M. Terrell high school. In the early 70's, he played saxophone with the show band "Black Funk" and sang with the vocal group "Mixed Emotions". Shortly after, he joined "The Creators". After a brief hiatus from the group, Howard rejoined as a member of today's "The Legendary

He is married to Mary White and has a son, Hasan, in the military and a daughter, Maleta, who works at TCU in Ft. Worth. He is the owner/manager of Whitehouse Upholstery.
Jimmy, also from Como, was inspired by "The Creators" when he saw one of their performances at their high school. Before joining them, he traveled with his uncle's band doing shows throughout Texas. Filling in for Kermit who was part of a contemporary gospel group named "By DeZine", brought him in contact with "The Legendary Creators". He prayed about joining the group after singing at an event for his wife. God answered his prayer. Jimmy is responsible for acquiring the musicians for the group. He sings 1st tenor, 2nd tenor, baritone, and bass.
He recently retired from FWISD. He is married with two daughters, and two grandchildren. His favorite hobbies are golf and fishing. He is committed to being faithful to God, God’s word, and God’s people.
